Revit Architecture 2012 - 1° Corner
Revit architecture is a software dedicated to the representation of architecture. Revit is a parametric representation of architecture. That is, we can create in a very simple architectural elements such as walls, windows, doors, floors and stairs using the tools provided by the software. Each element can be drawn on one of the main sights, usually planimetric views, and the same item is already in three dimensions, so you get immediate with a few mouse clicks: sections, elevations, perspectives and assonometire. But not only this, with all Revit modeling is interconessa with each part of the project. This translates into the ability to edit each part of the project and this change is reflected in all other parts of the project. Still all project components (walls, doors, windows, roofs) have information and such information may be used in tables, lists and documents. This way of working is typical of BIM (building information model) and Revit Architecture is one of the leaders in this field.

Obviously, every single element (in Revit family) can be edited in the individual characteristics and we can create from a base element, other families or instances. Beyond the basic families (walls, doors, windows, etc.) you can create individual models not included in the default categories or create special forms of architecture by the modeler internal masses.

Revit is a CAD like the others, even if in some ways not as intuitive as Autocad, so we can quote every view (elevation, section or plans), add text and images to complete the process of project documentation.
